This was a waste of time to read and discuss. There are errors throughout. One example that could easily have been checked is the Temple Mount not Mound as was stated a few times in the book. This book proves that anyone can write a book and get it published. We could have read other books (and will) that would have given us the information in a better and more concise manner without the radical right rhetoric. Some of what the author relates is true but his writing style is so slanted and sarcastic that every person in the group disliked it. I bought this book for a book group that discusses timely topics with an emphasis on Jewish or related matters. The editing of the book was also poor.
to those rational, free thinking individuals of the world, this guy is scum at the bottom of the barrel producing works even lower than that. The same people who cannibalised a whole village in modern Palestine because they could not find any other food and were apparantly inspired by God to do so. All in all if you love to hate and have a lust for blood, this book will appeal. Here's a guy who's written a book on such a rich and valuable topic as Islam with no scholarly merit whatsoever. Biggest waste of money ever. Look up his previous books and read the statements of his audience (who call for the killing of muslims) and it won't take you long to gauge that he embodies all the hate and islamophobia present in American society today.He selects random verses from the Holy Quran and then interprets them according to his own twisted understanding trying to prove that Islam and muslims are magically bent upon destroying all that exists. His book capitalises on the fear and hate of many (mainly Christian Americans) against Islam. Another abdsurdity with this guy is that he portrays the Crusaders as innocent flower pickers.
A serie of books and against Islam and Muslisms that this author with no academic and scholary merit wrote is enough prooof his intention.

It is a must read for anyone who wants to understand the mindset on those who conduct these attacks on our freedom. It leaves those who refuse vulnerable to being blindsided." This book is meticulously referenced and powerfully written. "What we are fighting today is not precisely a 'war on terror.' Terror is a tactic not an opponent. To wage a 'war on terror' is like waging a 'war on bombs;' it focuses on a tool of the enemy instead of the enemy itself.
How odd that we laud universal human rights but consider ancient Israel barbaric for ending that kind of evil (if even only in some cases). Think: the state church you do not even belong to just sent church employed troopers to your home to pick up your cherished and adored four year old daughter. Further, the nations Israel fought against were depraved to the point of cultic prostitution. That world was so unimaginably grotesque that it is shameful but sadly nessesary for this writer to even illustrate. They sell themselves to raise money to pay for the new building fund for Moloch's new temple. Readable, and well laid out.
The other side of the total destruction coin was also "No booty." That in fact made war hard and detestable for Israel and not something to lust after. She was just selected by a lotto to be handed over to have her throat slit and burned to please a non-existent god. There are even other arguments to make in the distinction between the Quran and the Old Testament left out. Unbelievably and worse yet, the nations Israel fought against also practised cultic child sacrifice. Now do we understand. The comparison is the first thing that people tend to bring up.say "Well, if the Quran is the source of Islam, Islam is no different than Christianity because Christianity (and for that matter Judaism also) teaches violence in the Bible too." The first difference is even if the Old Testmament did in some one time instances endorse just war, war for personal profit was utterly precluded.
Think: you live in a country with a state church that sponsors little brothel rooms in the back of the church with girls and boys both from the youth groups.
